Contributor and Reviewer Guide
Contributor and Reviewer Guide
Four concrete paths into the project, each routed through a GitHub issue template
Propose a Correction
Found a sign error, wrong equation, or missing assumption?
Use the Content Correction template. Quote the exact claim, give the file and line, and describe how you verified it — a derivation, a script, or direct observation in both the LaTeX and Quarto trees. Corrections are held to the Rigor Guide.
Critique a Claim
Think a mathematical or physical claim does not hold?
Existing objections and their status are tracked in Critiques & Responses. To raise a new one or respond to an open critique, use the Critique Response template: name the core argument being challenged, rate its severity, and propose the change it requires.
Contribute a Dataset
Have measurement data, motion-capture recordings, or a simulation dataset to share?
Review the existing Datasets page, then use the Resource Addition template (select Dataset) with provenance, license, and a description of what the dataset enables.
Review a Chapter
Willing to read a chapter or article closely and report findings?
Follow the repository's Content Review Protocol — it defines the severity rubric and finding format reviews are held to — then file findings with the Textbook Improvement template. A mathematical or sign error belongs in Content Correction, above, instead.
