Fixture and Dataset Explorer
This page is a reading and verification aid, not a governed reproduction. It shows exactly what is in each fixture file: whether it validates against a schema published in this repository, its every field, and a SHA-256 digest computed from the bytes you can download. It does not re-run any model, and a “Valid” badge is a claim about JSON structure only, never about scientific or population authority. See Population Validation Protocol and the ZTCF Counterfactual and Proximal-Distal Energy Transfer articles for what these fixtures are used to argue.
How Validation Works Here
Every fixture below declares a schema_version. This page only reports a fixture as Valid or Invalid when a matching *.schema.json file is actually checked into this repository next to it; validation then runs entirely in your browser against that published schema. When no schema file has been published yet for a family — currently the population-generalization and proximal-distal energy-transfer snapshots — the page says so explicitly rather than inventing a pass or fail.
Each fixture also lists every field it contains in an accessible table, and a download button that computes the SHA-256 digest of the exact bytes served to your browser, so the digest you see always matches the file you download.
Fixture Families
| Family | Directory | Published Schema |
|---|---|---|
| ZTCF counterfactual fixtures | data/ztcf/ |
ztcf_intervention_v1.schema.json |
| Population-generalization reports | data/population_generalization/ |
Not yet published |
| Proximal-distal energy-transfer snapshots | data/proximal_distal_energy_transfer/ |

The manifest driving this page is generated by scripts/generate_dataset_explorer_manifest.py; run it after adding or removing a fixture file, then commit the refreshed data/dataset_explorer_manifest.json.
